Performing a famous MJ number is something, and dressing for the same is another.
A member from the cast of the famous musical, Glee recently narrated all the pains that he had to endure in order to don a leather jumpsuit to perform Jackson’s blasting number Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’.
Over the years, as we continue to watch the musical Glee, we find it frequently paying tributes to the legendary artist, Michael Jackson.
An online access to the show will soon reveal an entire new episode comprising MJ’s greatest numbers sang and performed by Chris Colfer, the actor playing the character of Kurt Hummel.
He admitted off-late that though performing the tracks was really exciting and it went down well with him, the costume was really uncomfortable and that his plight in it was really traumatic.
Chris is believed to have said that he did not feel sexy at all in the attire, and that the leather jumpsuit was cat-womanish in its appeal.
It was more of a thing that resembled the villains of Batman and the James Bond movies.
So, yeah it wasn’t that sexy an experience for Chris. Well, to be honest, I feel having known Jackson as little as the layman does; Chris should have been prepared top don skinny costumes that would NOT be macho, for Christ’s sake.
I guess, very few men can don MJ”s attire and be comfortable in it, you know…And, as for Chris, acting and performing is all about being someone else for a while, and times the process can get a bit too uncomfortable and laughable as this one.
From the next time, if Chris isn’t interested to earn all admiration for putting up those Michael Jackson tracks, he can certainly get Kevin McHale to do the job for him. I’m sure McHale is ever-ready to capitalize on anything that has got to do anything with Late Michael Jackson.
